“I designed the EF1 only with my own racing in mind. To fight for wins at big races. The first design was made with the European Championship in Trencin in mind. As it is a prototype production, I focussed on 3D printed parts, and tried to make best use of that technology. So the structural parts are optimized to distribute any impact energy over as much volume as possible. That way it was possible to ccreate a rather strong car despite many suspension parts are 3D printed.
After my hard fights with Jan Ratheisky for the title at the European Championship earlier this summer, I decided I had to improve the car even more to have a even better chance to win the Formula 1 World Cup here in Gubbio.
I spent many hours to optimize the the car for maximum aerodynamic downforce, especially in the rear, without sacrificing any mechanical grip, and that should really help me here. Right now I am very happy with the performance, and proud of the results so far.”
